* For example, if you want to save a folder named Screenshot on the desktop, you should type this command:

“Defaults write com.apple.screenshot location ~ / desktop / Screen Display”

  • To change the screenshot extension, enter the following command: “defaults write com.apple.screenshot type jpeg”. Instead of “jpeg”, you can type in a desired format.
